Gravitas Ventures receives distribution rights to Scotto Weintrob’s “Paradox Effect” film

The film, produced by ILBE, will be released in theaters in Italy on August 1st distributed by Notorious Pictures.

Rome, 23 July 2024 – Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment sold to Gravitas Ventures, a leading American independent film distributor, the US & Canadian distribution rights to the action thriller ‘Paradox Effect’ directed by director Scott Weintrob. ILBE reserves for itself a share of the proceeds.

ILBE has also assigned the Italian theatrical distribution rights to Notorious Pictures. “Paradox Effect” will only be available in cinemas and will be released in Italy on August 1st.

Among his latest productions, Weintrob directed the series ‘Orlando Bloom: To The Edge’ available on Peacock, an US streaming platform. Previously, the director directed an episode of Apple+’s Emmy-nominated documentary series “Home”.

‘Paradox Effect’ stars Oscar nominee Harvey Keitel (The Hyenas, Bugsy) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, To The Wonder). The film’s cast also includes Oliver Trevena (The Bricklayer, Plane), Meredith Mickelson (Bunny-Man, The Pickup Artist) and Alice Astons in her debut.

The film centres on the story of a former drug addict who witnesses a murder. She is forced to collaborate with the murderer to save her daughter’s life. She must fight against time, the police and the criminal world to save the only person who matters to her.
