Production of the film “In the fire” gets under ways

Distribution agreement with Saban Film LLC with revenues of $1.5 million for ILBE

Further distribution agreements with other customers in the pipeline

Texan director, screenwriter and producer of No Man’s Land Conor Allyn named as director

ILBE (Iervolino and Lady Bacardi Entertainment), the global movie and TV production company (Euronext Growth Milan – IT0005380602 – IE; Euronext Growth Paris – IT0005380602 – ALIE) announces the start of production of the film In the Fire.

The project includes an agreement with Saban Film LLC for distribution rights worth $1.5 million for territories including the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, France and Germany. Additional revenues are expected from agreements being finalised with other customers. The production also benefits from government grants passed by lawmakers.

Saban Film LLC, a North American investment and distribution boutique based in Los Angeles, has acquired and distributed several successful films, including the recent Fatman starring Mel Gibson, the Christmas film A Gift from Bob starring Luke Treadway and Anna Wilson-Jones, the animated film Mosley, as well as a series of action movies starring Hollywood star Bruce Willis, including Cosmic Sin and Deadlock.

The direction will be entrusted to Conor Allyn, the director, screenwriter and producer from Texas who in 2021 directed No Man’s Land, a contemporary western set on the border between Mexico and the United States. He previously directed Walk. Ride. Rodeo, Java Heat and various international productions.

Synopsis

A 38-year-old American psychiatrist arrives on a rich farm in Colombia after being called to solve the case of a disturbed child. She had been called by the mother of the child, concerned by the increasingly insistent accusations of the local priest and farmers – tormented by mysterious adverse events – that the child is the devil. When the doctor arrives, she discovers that the boy’s mother has died and that the father himself has begun to believe that the boy might be possessed. As the woman attempts to psychoanalyse the child, the nefarious events intensify and her “care” becomes a race to save the child from the fury of his fellow citizens and perhaps even from himself, when she herself begins to fear that what is happening in the “hacienda” has to do with something supernatural.
